Taking a Flight from Edinburgh

All flights from Edinburgh to Brussels depart from Edinburgh International Airport, which is situated a few kilometres outside the city centre. The most reliable way to reach the airport is via the 100 bus route, which runs 24 hours a day, every day of the week. If you are coming from other parts of Scotland, Megabus also provide a coach connection to cities like Dundee or Aberdeen. The quickest way to reach the airport is via Edinburgh's tram network, which runs from central locations like Waverley and Haymarket.

Flying into Brussels

Belgium's capital city is a fantastic destination for a short break. For one thing, the city is blessed with some beautiful architecture - most notably the buildings around Grand Place. Shop for antiques and souvenirs down the Rue Charles Buls (where you can also see the famous Mannequin Pis statue) and relax with a delicious plate of moules-frites and a Belgian beer to round off your sight-seeing. The airport is only 12 kilometres from the centre of town. To get into the centre simply catch the Airport Train Line to Brussels-Midi station or catch buses 12 or 21. There are also regular buses to other Belgian cities like Antwerp or Bruges.
