I am absolutely delighted with my train journey from Paris to Munich! As soon as I boarded the TGV (train number TGV/ICE 9573) at Paris Est station, I had a good feeling: the carriages were very clean, the seats were comfortable and the whole atmosphere was modern and inviting. During the journey, I was able to relax and enjoy the passing scenery. The on-board staff were extremely friendly and helpful - I was even able to communicate in German and English without any problems. I found the quiet atmosphere on the train particularly pleasant. There was enough space for my luggage, free wifi and power sockets at every seat, so I was even able to work a little while travelling. The changeover times were optimised and everything ran smoothly, without any hectic or stress. I was also impressed by the punctuality: we arrived at Munich Central Station on time. All in all, it was a comfortable, stress-free and environmentally friendly way to travel. I can recommend this connection to anyone

The return journey from Paris to Munich on the TGV was really great. I had a seat in first class, which was immediately noticeable. The seats were incredibly comfortable and had enough space for me to really relax throughout the journey. The train was modern and well equipped, and the large windows gave a great view of the French countryside. The departure was on time and the journey itself was so quiet that I was able to relax and read a book and enjoy the passing scenery. The on-board staff were really friendly and attentive, I was served quickly and could choose from various drinks and snacks. I opted for a delicious coffee and a fresh sandwich, which tasted really good. The atmosphere on the train was relaxed and you could tell that the other passengers were also enjoying the calm atmosphere. The speed of the TGV was really impressive, you realise how fast you are travelling. The connection between Paris and Munich is really convenient and I felt really comfortable throughout the journey. By the time we arrived in Munich, I was refreshed and ready to explore the city. Overall, travelling back on the TGV was a really good decision and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to travel in comfort and relaxation.

I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by the journey. The train was on time to the minute and the staff at the station were really friendly. I also got my own seat on the train and was able to relax the whole time. The price of the ticket was also very reasonable. I wasn't travelling with pets, but as far as I know, that wouldn't have been a problem either.

I travelled on train 9563/1069. Unfortunately, the train was not there on time and was already late at the time of departure. Overall, the journey was pleasant, nevertheless. The train made a clean and well-kept impression. The seats were comfortable and the toilets were clean. Although the delay was annoying, the cleanliness and comfort during the journey left a positive impression.

Overall, the train journey was pleasant. I had a seat by the window, which made the journey much more relaxed, and the seating comfort was acceptable. Unfortunately, the train was delayed by about ten minutes, which meant there was a bit of time pressure for a short time. Apart from that, the carriage was quiet, the cleanliness was impressive and the temperature was pleasant. All in all, very good. Four stars!

The train journey was okay, but not particularly pleasant. The carriage was quite full and it was difficult to fit my luggage in. The air conditioning also seemed overloaded, it was too warm. At least the train was on time and the ticket was cheap. The seat was okay, but a little uncomfortable for longer journeys. Changing trains worked without any problems. Despite its shortcomings, I can recommend it as an alternative.

My boyfriend and I went on a city trip to Paris. This connection was our best option for the return journey. We flew there and wanted to travel home by TGV again, as we always found it very comfortable. My favourite thing about the TGV is the quiet atmosphere, the most annoying thing is the potential delays, as you can never be sure whether the train will arrive on time. We travelled in the afternoon, the journey was very pleasant, the comfort was good, everything was clean, the train attendants were friendly, the service was good and the train was reasonably punctual. I charged my mobile phone, we didn't go to the on-board restaurant. I found the price-performance ratio good and am satisfied (140€ for 2 people)
Advantages
IconGood staff
IconCleanliness of the train
IconThe observance of hygiene
This trip deserves a 5 out of 5 star rating. The food was very tasty, there were vegan and vegetarian dishes. You could place your order quickly and they brought it quickly. The train was not too cold and not too hot. You also had a lot of free space at the place. The price on the menu was not too expensive. Attention was paid to hygiene. I would definitely recommend this trip.

IconVery good service
Iconvery favourable
This was a 2nd class journey, which was very cheap and definitely worth it. I especially liked the service, as my order was delivered very quickly and was relatively cheap. Also, the food was delicious and there was a lot of choice. Cleanliness was definitely present, what was also present was hygiene. The staff were nice and also very entertaining. The train was on time and the wifi was good. I am happy to recommend the trip. This was my return journey.

Compared to the DB, there was good wifi and power sockets within easy reach on the train. It's difficult without a seat reservation, you have to keep moving around. Nevertheless, the seats were very comfortable. The staff were courteous, but there was some rubbish in the corridors and especially in the toilet. The rubbish bins could be emptied more regularly. Due to roadworks, the train had to divert to a different route, which caused delays.

IconOn-board restaurant
On the train journey from Paris to Munich. We had a power socket and wifi. The wifi was OK👌 it was very quiet and calm. We had plenty of legroom and it was almost empty on the train. The staff were nice, but unfortunately the on-board restaurant only served chips. The toilets were very clean and modern. Unfortunately, we were delayed by 2 hours due to track works. Overall, and for 1st class, the price-performance ratio was excellent.

IconIt was a bit noisy at the beginning
I found it very nice, I was on TGV9576 and left at 11:09. It was nice and clean and the people didn't make a ruckus. Once again I was travelling for about 5 hours. The people were very nice, it was just a bit noisy at the beginning of the journey.
Advantages

Comfortable train journey from Paris to Munich, on time, clean and friendly staff, enjoyed beautiful scenery on the route recommendable. I have nothing but good things to say about it. The staff were also very friendly. The train journey is fast, passed by the ICE journey.
Advantages
IconNice ride
Disadvantages
IconPricewise okay
As with the journey to Paris, the journey back was beautiful. It was a beautiful view again, only this time I could concentrate more on the view within France and it was really peaceful. The wifi also worked without any problems and the service was nice and this time they spoke in English or French. Some people could also speak German, which I thought was really great
Advantages
IconGood view
Disadvantages
IconLocked toilets
The train from Paris to Munich with the train number TGV 9577 departed at 15:55 and arrived in Munich at 21:36 without any delays. The Paris-Munich connection is possible without changing trains. I was able to completely relax on the journey thanks to the quiet background noise. The staff are very friendly and courteous, they helped me connect to the internet. The toilets were clean and hygienic, as were the seats.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconVery expensive
I really liked the ease of booking online via the Deutsche Bahn app. I also liked the fact that I reached my destination quickly and the wifi, which worked perfectly. The clean toilets were also a plus point, as was the fact that I didn't have to change trains. Nevertheless, the price for a train journey was far too high.
Advantages

IconGood wifi

Disadvantages

The TGV 9577 departed from Paris half an hour late, which is not bad on a journey of almost 5 hours. The TGV travelled to Munich with 5 stops, I didn't have to change trains to get to Munich. The toilets were very hygienic and even wheelchair accessible. The staff on the train were polite and nice, they helped me connect to the internet. I would recommend everyone to book a seat.
Advantages
IconSimple booking
Disadvantages
IconVery expensive
I found the price of this train journey quite expensive. Nevertheless, the journey was great because I didn't have to change trains and reached my destination quite quickly. I also liked the fact that the train wasn't delayed and was very clean. I was also impressed by the good wifi.
Advantages
IconFast drive
Disadvantages
IconExpensive in terms of price
I travelled on TGV9577 and before the start of the journey I was relatively happy to be travelling on one of the TGV trains again, as I've always had a good experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case on this journey to Munich, as the train was dirty, the on-board bistro was not open and the service was also rather sporadically good-humoured. What's more, the price I had to pay for my ticket was relatively high.
Advantages
IconGreat train
IconVery quiet
IconDrives very fast
Disadvantages
IconA little wobbly
IconVery full
IconLittle legroom
I think the TGV was a really great train. It's a bit outdated, but it's very nice. It travels quite fast through France at around 300 km/h. There is also a lounge with hot and cold drinks at the Gare de l'est station in Paris. The cleanliness of the train and the toilet left a lot to be desired. The staff are very nice, but unfortunately not everything is available in the board bistro. In terms of value for money, it is a very good train journey for the price.
Advantages
IconEasy booking
Disadvantages
IconExpensive
Despite the fact that the ticket was expensive, I found it very easy to book. I really liked the fact that I didn't have to change trains and reached my destination quickly. I also liked the cleanliness of the toilets and the very good wifi, which allowed me to watch films.
Advantages
IconClean
Disadvantages
IconDelay
It was very pleasing to see that there was no dirt or leftover food on the benches. However, it was unpleasant that the train was delayed for some time. The staff helped me a lot and were very nice in my opinion. The price-performance ratio is very good. In conclusion, I would give it four stars and recommend the journey despite the delay. The journey took just under 6 hours.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconCleanliness/ hygiene on the train
On my train journey from Paris to Munich, I enjoyed the comfort of the seats on the train and the friendly service. Unfortunately, the cleanliness on the train was not the best. The journey time was pleasant, but the price-performance ratio could be better. Nevertheless, a journey worth recommending
Advantages

IconNice conductor
IconClean train
Disadvantages
IconIt was loud in the compartment
I travelled by train for about 6 hours. The seats were very comfortable and you really can't complain about them. Unfortunately, however, it was very noisy in the compartment and easily for 2 hours at a time. I found that super exhausting. Apart from that, it was a great journey. The train was well cleaned, the conductor was very friendly and even the loo was very clean. I didn't have to change trains. Power sockets were available, the wifi only worked partially.
Advantages
IconEnvironmentally friendly
IconFavourable
Disadvantages
IconTakes a long time
IconPoor equipment
IconTrain overcrowded
IconChange often
My assessment of the train journey from Paris to Munich: Unfortunately, the journey was disappointing. Although it was cheap and environmentally friendly, the disadvantages clearly outweighed the advantages. The journey took a very long time, the trains were overcrowded and you had to change trains frequently, which made everything very tiring. In addition, the equipment on the trains left a lot to be desired. Overall, I therefore only give it 2 stars. One of the worst train journeys I have ever experienced.
Advantages
IconFast connection
IconGood service
IconGood comfort
Disadvantages
IconNone
My journey from Paris to Munich was a very good travel experience. First of all, the train set off on time and also reached its destination without any delays. On board, the service staff at the bistro provided friendly service. The prices were fine in my opinion. The train was comfortably equipped, with very ergonomic seats. It was clean and well maintained on board.
Advantages
IconEnvironmentally friendly
IconA changeover
Disadvantages
IconExpensive
I travelled from Paris Est to Stuttgart on 7 August 2024 with the ICE 9573 and from there with the ICE 567 to Munich main station. The ICE 9573 included a free reservation, which was very convenient. I had a planned changeover time of 47 minutes in Stuttgart. This is a good buffer for possible delays (we were 10 minutes late) and you can easily make your connection. The comfort was the same as on all previous journeys on Deutsche Bahn ICE trains: the on-board restaurant had delicious but expensive food on offer, the staff were nice and the seats were okay. I would do it again, but found the price very expensive.
