The train was modern and clean, the seats comfortable enough, even for longer journeys. The wifi worked well for the most part, even if it did go down for a short time in between. There were power sockets at the seats - really practical for me as someone who likes to work while travelling.

ExpensiveTrain was extremely fullDelayThe train journey from Passau to Vienna was generally pleasant and, above all, fast - that's one of the big advantages I appreciate about travelling by train. It's also a sustainable way of travelling, which is important to me personally. The on-board restaurant was open and looked good - I generally use it a lot on train journeys, even if I didn't make use of it this time. However, the train was extremely full (I travelled in the afternoon), probably because of a conference in Vienna. It was more crowded than ever, which also meant that almost all the toilets were blocked towards the end - a rather unpleasant experience. But that's not normally the case. I travelled first class and paid over 114 euros - I think that's quite expensive. Apart from that, everything worked well, the journey was quiet, there was only a slight delay at the end, but nothing dramatic. The wifi and sockets worked. I give it 4 out of 5 stars - one point deducted because of the extreme overcrowding and the toilet situation.
