Disadvantages

The route from Halle an der Saale to Dresden can also be travelled by IC train in 1 hour and 40 minutes and is therefore faster than the bus connection. The IC train used on my journey also makes the journey comfortable due to the seats. Unfortunately, Deutsche Bahn's IC trains are much older than the ICE trains and the furnishings are therefore somewhat older. This is also noticeable in the WCs. If you book in good time (more than seven days before departure), the connections between Halle and Dresden are also attractively priced.
