The train journey from Halle to Leipzig with the regional express 26019 was a disappointing experience overall. The train was delayed, which was annoying. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired and the seats were worn. There was also little space for luggage. The staff were at least polite. Likewise, I found the short journey time and relatively low price appealing. Nevertheless, I think there are better travel options.

Overall, I can unreservedly recommend the train journey with the Regionalexpress from Halle to Leipzig. Punctuality, cleanliness and comfort all contributed to making my journey extremely pleasant. I would also like to highlight the friendly train staff in a particularly positive light. The staff were helpful and happy to answer any questions. Another positive aspect was the short journey time of almost exactly half an hour.

I recently travelled from Halle station to Leipzig. The price for this journey in second class was a bit too high. The journey was very comfortable! The hygienic condition in the ICE was perfect. The service was also very, very good. I can recommend such a train journey.
Advantages

IconBeautiful view
IconGood value
Disadvantages
IconNo on-board bistro
The route was travelled by IC2, which looks very futuristic. It has fast internet and very comfortable seats. There is also plenty of stowage space for luggage. The journey was very cheap and therefore offers good value for money. The view was also nice, definitely varied with lots of nature and Halle/Leipzig airport. The ticket inspector was nice and courteous. The journey only took a short time and you were quickly at your destination in Leipzig. Everything on the train itself was very clean and tidy and you felt very comfortable. The sockets and wifi both worked well and the toilets were clean and in use.

Disadvantages
IconNot clean
IconOvercrowded train
The journey from Halle to Leipzig on Regional Express 26019 was more of a practical way to travel. On this day the train was extremely full, standing was not the biggest problem, but rather the lack of freedom of movement. It was also not really clean on the train. The favourable price speaks in favour of this connection. The train was also on time for the entire journey. I can only recommend this connection to a limited extent.
Advantages
IconFriendly and competent staff
Iconno change
IconComfortable seats with full equipment
IconHygienic and clean train
IconNormal capacity utilisation
Disadvantages
IconDelay of 10 minutes
Icontoo loud in the passenger compartment due to the diesel train
On my journey from Halle to Leipzig, the train was running at normal capacity. Unfortunately, a diesel train was used here, which is why I found it too loud in the passenger compartment. Otherwise, the seats were comfortable and the train was fully equipped with power sockets and a stable internet connection. The staff here were also friendly and competent. I found the cleanliness here to be very good and the toilets were very hygienic. There was only a slight delay of around 10 minutes. However, this wasn't too bad for me as I didn't have to change trains.
