Most of the trains between these cities run between Florence Santa Maria Novella and Naples Centrale, but there are a few trips from Florence Rifredi Station. The high-speed routes take close to 3 hours, while the regional and long-distance trains can take over 7 hours. Thanks to the popularity of both of these cities and the route between them, trains from Florence to Napoli Centrale, otherwise known as Naples Centrale. It can be found in the heart of the city centre by the Piazza Garibaldi and functions as three stations in one. The level you'll be arriving at is the mainline terminus on the ground level, but there are two underground stations with connections to major cities inside the country, as well as the Metro line connecting the rest of the city.
