The train was clean and provided a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy the journey. The passengers were also friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. An all-round successful train journey that I would be happy to recommend!

My train was about half an hour lateI travelled from Bratislava to Budapest on the EuroCity 281 Metropolitan. The direct journey took 2:25 hours, but started 30-40 minutes late. The train was very empty, which made for a quiet and pleasant journey - I had a 6-seater compartment to myself. The cleanliness was unobtrusive and power sockets were available. For the price, the price-performance ratio is good, even if the delay spoilt the overall impression somewhat.
