Numerous airlines run flights from Aberdeen to Paris, but only Flybe and Air France have direct flights, arriving at Charles de Gaulle Airport. A direct flight lasts two hours. Flights start at 5.30 a.m. and the last leaves at 8.30 p.m. Flights departing early have a stopover that may last a few hours, but some of the later flights have a total journey time of over fourteen hours.

Taking a Flight from Aberdeen

Aberdeen Airport is in Dyce, 9.3 km north-west of the city. Between 6.45 a.m. and 7.00 p.m., a shuttle bus runs every twenty minutes to nearby Dyce station, where there is a connection to the city centre. The journey takes fifteen minutes. The No.727 bus leaves the airport every ten minutes and stops at the main train and bus station in the centre. It runs from 4.30am to 11.30pm on weekdays and 5.30 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. on Sundays. Taxis from the airport usually cost under EUR20.

Flying into Paris

Paris is one of the most famous capital cities in the world, and is a 'must-visit' for romantic couples, foodies, architecture enthusiasts, sports fans and fashionistas, as the city caters to all these and much more besides. There are two airports in Paris - Orly and Charles de Gaulle Airport. Orly is 13km to the south of the city and CDG is 25 km north-east. There are train stations at both airports. Trains from CDG take 25-30 mins to arrive at Gare du Nord. Taxis from Orly to the city centre cost EUR35, while ones from CDG cost EUR40-EUR50. Bus routes 19, 350 and 351 run from CDG airport, and bus 183 runs from Orly. Cars Air France also run coaches to and from both airports. These run every 30 minutes from 5.45 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.
