Taking the Bus from Vienna
Buses from Vienna to Graz leave from the Vienna International Bus Terminal, known as VIB, which is south-west of the city centre. Vienna's highly efficient public transport system links directly to the VIB, via the Erdberg stop on the U-Bahn. The journey from the city centre takes about 30 minutes on public transport. Taxis are plentiful, either to hail on the streets or at taxi ranks and the journey from the centre to the VIB takes about 15 minutes. On Fridays and Saturdays the U-Bahn network operates at night, while on other days the U-Bahn runs until about midnight and there is a comprehensive night bus service.
