Basically, the train journey from Osnabrück to Düsseldorf was really pleasant, but the train was extremely noisy on this stretch. I don't know what it was, but you could hardly talk or make a phone call. On the other hand, the toilets were very clean and the train had nice, comfortable seats. We had a slight delay and the price was a bit high. I think I had a bad day and would probably book the trip again, especially if the ticket was cheaper.

We travelled by ICE from Osnabrück to Düsseldorf at the end of 2023. The train was very clean, not overcrowded and had friendly service. The train ticket was included in our booking, so I can't comment on the price. What I particularly liked was the air in the ICE. I'm used to normal regional trains often being too cold and the air a bit stale. In the ICE, the temperature was perfect and there was no strange odour. Overall, the journey was very pleasant.
