My journey by ICE from Offenburg to Frankfurt was smooth and fun. The price was unbeatable and better than by car. The seats were comfortable and the journey time short. On the negative side, there was little flexibility with train connections and unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work well on the journey. Also, the power socket on my seat didn't work. All in all, however, I am satisfied and would travel again!

I took the ICE 274 from Offenburg to Frankfurt am Main. It was a very relaxed journey because the train was very empty that day. It was clean and the air conditioning made for a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. The staff on board were friendly and there were no complications in this regard. The journey time was only a short 1.5 hours, which I appreciated. The only drawback was that the prices in the on-board bistro were a bit overpriced in my opinion.
Advantages
IconEverything proceeded swiftly
Disadvantages
IconUnclean and sticky
I had positive experiences with this train connection, but also not so nice moments. Therefore, I give this train connection three stars. When I arrived at the train, which was on time by the way, I was already sitting on my seat a short time later. It was clean and felt comfortable and soft. What I didn't like was that the floor was covered with sticky stuff and it made unpleasant noises under the soles of my shoes. The toilet was hygienic in my opinion, there was everything in the toilet, even a bottle with disinfectant. The staff were always present and could answer all my questions, unfortunately there was no wifi and no electricity at my seat. Despite this, I reached my destination very quickly and on time and was actually very satisfied with the train connection. My conclusion: fast and smooth, but a bit messy.

Disadvantages

I am very satisfied with this train connection and would like to give it a positive review here. The reservation worked wonderfully, thanks to the good and clear app. My train arrived on time and also left on time. My seat was very comfortable, it had a pleasant armrest and a leather headrest, and there was a USB port at my table, which allowed me to use and charge my smartphone throughout the journey. The toilet was very clean, the toilet seat was white, there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. The staff were very helpful and always close by, and were able to answer all my questions. I reached my destination before time, and was able to get off the train very quickly. A very pleasant experience, so only positive recommendation.

The train arrived in Frankfurt on time, so I could catch my connecting train. The journey takes about 2:30 hours. The staff on the train were very friendly and helpful. Due to the high occupancy rate, I recommend a seat reservation, otherwise it is difficult to find a seat.

The journey from Offenburg to Frankfurt, with the ICE 274, was very pleasant most of the time. The train was clean and in good condition. The seats were comfortable and ergonomic. The train had no delays during the entire journey. There was an on-board bistro, free wifi and power sockets. The service was not bad, except for a pushy conductor.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconNo wifi
The journey from Offenburg to Frankfurt was on ICE 274, in second class. The train left Offenburg on time and arrived in Frankfurt on time. The train and especially the toilets were exceptionally clean and hygienic. The journey was quite reasonable at 1.5 hours. What I missed was a free wifi connection. But considering the relatively short duration of the journey, this is forgivable.
Advantages
IconA very pleasant ride positive experience
Disadvantages
IconI could not gather any negative experiences
This connection surprised me in a positive way. I had now tried it for the first time and was very satisfied with this connection. The train arrived on time, it was very clean, quiet and tidy. The windows were clean so you could see the scenery outside. The toilets were very clean and there was nothing lacking in grooming materials. The staff were very friendly. There was wifi, electricity and a snack bar on the train. All in all, a recommendable connection.

The journey from Offenburg to Frankfurt am Main was on ICE 274, in second class. I didn't reserve a seat, but I got one anyway. The journey took about 1.5 hours, nothing out of the ordinary. The train was in very good condition, it had new and very comfortable seats. Some of the seats in first class were the same. The service on board was good and nothing to complain about.
Advantages
IconOn time
Disadvantages
IconNot clean
I travelled from Offenburg to Frankfurt station on the ICE 274. The journey was in second class and I had not reserved a seat. However, this was not a problem as there were enough seats. The train was on time the whole way, which was positive. What I found bad was that the train was not particularly clean. Neither inside nor outside. The dustbins were not emptied. The windows were dirty.
Advantages
IconNice staff
IconShort journey duration
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
The journey from Offenburg to Frankfurt am Main was made by ICE at breakneck speed. It was a direct journey without changing trains. The train was clean and in good technical condition. The equipment was perfect for this class. However, the wifi was occasionally a little wobbly. It was not possible to work continuously. The service was good, coffee was served at your seat. A recommendable connection, in my opinion.
Advantages
IconPunctual
IconClean
Iconwifi
Disadvantages
IconSmall seat
The train connection was very punctual, which made for a smooth journey. No unnecessary delays. The ticket prices were reasonable, but more flexible pricing could be desirable. The barrier-free entrances made travelling easier for people with disabilities. Overall clean, but in some carriages the cleaning services could be a little more attentive. The power sockets were easily accessible, making it possible to charge devices. The internet connection was stable, but could be a little faster at peak times. The toilets were clean, but more regular cleaning would be desirable. The seats were comfortable, but could be a little more spacious for people who need more room.
