Advantages
IconFriendly staff
IconOn time
Disadvantages
IconA little dirty
Due to the many people who had logged into the WiFi, the network was overloaded, which was of no use to me. The power outlet worked. Seats were ok, table and floor a bit dirty. The staff were very friendly and helpful and often gave out information for trains and the like. About the toilets were intact but slightly smelly. The train was on time. Price was ok for short term booking but in my eyes it could cost 20-30% less.
Advantages
Icontasty food
I immediately noticed that the train was very nicely decorated. You had a lot of space. The food was particularly tasty and came from different kitchens. There was also a lot of attention paid to hygiene, for example with disinfectant. The staff were very friendly. The wifi was great and my ticket was cheap for what I got. My train was also on time. Great journey, I'd be happy to pass it on. What's more, the journey was in 2nd class.
Advantages
IconSuper fast
IconVery clean
Disadvantages
IconVery expensive
The train was on time and it took us just under 4 hours, which is very remarkable. The facilities were as expected. There was wifi, an on-board bistro and electricity. The hygiene was good. The price-performance ratio was reasonable, even if the tickets were quite expensive.
Advantages
IconPerfect ride
Disadvantages
IconPricewise okay
Just like my outward journey, everything was perfect without exception. I booked the return journey at the same time as the outward journey and, as there were a few days in between, I also paid less money, which was very practical. As I always choose a good time for the journey, I only paid a fraction of the normal price. The service was perfect again and the journey passed quickly and smoothly. Perfect for getting a good night's sleep
Advantages
IconSimple booking
Disadvantages
IconQuite expensive
I really liked the fact that I could book the ticket easily and that the train arrived on time. I also found the wifi, the toilets and the fact that I didn't have to change trains outstanding. However, I found the price quite expensive for a train ticket from Paris to Frankfurt.
Advantages
IconPunctual
IconComfortable
Disadvantages
IconToilet dirty
The conductor was nice to me and the train journey took about 4 hours. My seat was comfortable and there was a power socket at my seat. There was wifi, but it worked rather poorly. I didn't have to change trains and was able to travel through on my train. It wasn't too noisy in my compartment, but sometimes it was a bit louder than I would have liked. The toilet was unfortunately filthy and very smelly.
Advantages
IconBeautiful landscapes
IconTidy train
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
The journey from Paris to Frankfurt was relatively quick and also very relaxed. There were no complications and the travelling comfort was really outstanding. What's more, the train was always on time and I reached my destination without any delays. It was clean and tidy on board. The wifi was a little unreliable, but that wasn't too bad. The scenery along the route was simply picturesque.
Advantages
IconToilet was clean
IconConductor nice
Disadvantages
Icon25 minute delay
I was able to travel through without changing trains. I was very surprised that the train was in such good hygienic condition, even the toilet was easy to use. Unfortunately, we arrived at our destination station Frankfurt Hbf about 25 minutes late. My seat was comfortable and there was a power socket. There was also wifi, but it didn't always work properly. It was quiet in my compartment.
Advantages
IconShort journey duration
IconGood service
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
The journey from Paris to Frankfurt went largely according to plan. The train set off on time and reached Frankfurt without any delays. There was clinical cleanliness on board and the service was also impeccable. However, I have to say that I didn't like the wifi reception at all. There is still room for improvement here. The train journey itself was relatively short at just under 4 hours.
Advantages
IconBeautiful view
IconGood hygiene on the train
Disadvantages
IconPricewise okay
As with the journey to Paris, I travelled back to Frankfurt on the TGV9560. The train was again perfectly clean and I felt very comfortable during the journey. The service was very nice and I ate a small meal in the on-board bistro while I sat at my laptop via the train's wifi. The only thing I would have liked to have seen a change was the price, as I had to pay even more than on the journey to Paris.
Advantages
IconPersonnel
Disadvantages
IconNone
The staff responded to my questions in a very friendly manner and patiently explained the situation to me. The train was also on time to the minute. The toilets, as well as the compartment, were thoroughly cleaned, which showed the excellent hygiene. Comfort was also provided by comfortable benches and constant wifi. There were no problems during the journey, which is why I recommend the connection.
Advantages
IconClean
Disadvantages
IconAccording to
I travelled on TGV 9551 for about four hours. I was able to concentrate well on my work during this time, even if it was a bit noisy. It's just normal on a train. There were no riots and the people were very nice. My seat was nice too.
Advantages
IconWifi available
IconHelpful staff
IconToilets very clean
Disadvantages
Icon10 minute delay
In contrast to the outward journey, the toilets were very clean, which is very important to me, everything was hygienic and there was nothing on the floor. Unfortunately, the timetable was again without long stops so that you could buy something to eat. My seat was great: clean, comfortable and by the window. The journey time on the ICE 9553 was about 4 hours with a slight delay. Incidentally, the very hospitable staff showed me to my seat. The journey is expensive, but everything was clean, the staff were friendly and there were no changes.
Advantages
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
Icon_
The return journey also went very well, we reached our destination station on time again and the conductor was friendly to me. The toilet wasn't completely clean, but I think it was okay for a train toilet. Wifi and power sockets were available and worked perfectly.
Advantages
IconDirect connection
Iconspeed
IconComfort in 1st class
Disadvantages
IconInterrail surcharge necessary
IconDelay
I travelled from Gare du Nord station in Paris to Frankfurt am Main on the ICE 9553. The planned journey time would have been four and a half hours, but due to a half-hour delay in Germany it ended up being five. In 1st class, I really liked the reclining leather seat, the table and the amount of space. There were plenty of clean toilets. In addition, the train was surprisingly quiet despite travelling at speeds of up to 320 km/h, so I was able to move around easily. The power socket at my seat and the films on offer in the ICE portal made my journey time pass quickly. The only thing I find a pity is the high price for a seat reservation for Interrail users, which you should buy well in advance due to the quota. The Interrail contingent is much smaller than the actual number of seats on the train.
