Advantages
IconComfortable
IconSeat reservation possible
Disadvantages
IconFrequent delays
The journey in the IC from Nuremberg to Stuttgart is very comfortable. There are enough toilets and they are relatively clean. There are comfortable seats and a seat can be reserved in advance for a fee. Since the connection is usually very busy, I think it is worth reserving a seat. Unfortunately, delays are more frequent, but the IC is usually given priority, so delays are kept within reasonable limits for the most part. Overall, I would definitely recommend this train trip!
Advantages
IconSnack machine available
IconStaff friendly
IconSeats comfortable and train clean
Disadvantages
IconNo internet connection
IconVery loud atmosphere on the train
IconDelay of 10 minutes
This journey was similar to my outward journey. However, it had been noisy on the train, so I couldn't relax. The train again had no internet connection, but it did have power sockets. The seats were comfortable and the staff friendly. There was also a snack machine in the middle of the train and the train was relatively clean. However, the train had also been 10 minutes late, so overall not a good journey.
Advantages
IconSimple
Disadvantages
IconDelays
It's nice to just sit on the train and not have to do anything and just enjoy the ride. You have your own little table at each seat, a power socket, plenty of space and wifi throughout the train. Everything is clean, even in the toilets. The staff are always nice and helpful. Everything is very pleasant. Unfortunately, there are often delays or the trains are cancelled altogether. In the end, it's still good value for money.
Advantages
IconComfortable ride
Disadvantages
IconRude staff
I went to Stuttgart at that time, by train, and can tell almost only positive things about the journey. I found the journey very pleasant and comfortable, the noise level was reasonable and there was nothing to regret about the catering either. In terms of equipment, everything was also available. However, the train was a bit late and the ticket inspectors were quite racist, with one of them saying to a dark-skinned person, "I hope you're not going black". The value for money was also pretty good. However, I would definitely like to see more hygiene in the toilets next time I travel.
Advantages
IconGood comfort
IconGood seats
Disadvantages
IconPunctuality not present
IconStaff not so friendly
The journey from Nuremberg to Stuttgart was relatively good and pleasant. There were free power sockets, good seating comfort, wifi, toilets that were not so clean and of course food, which was expensive as in every train. Reserving seats was very easy, one click and you had the seat you wanted. I didn't have to change trains, but the train was delayed. I also found the staff not so friendly. All in all, it was a classic Deutsche Bahn journey.
Advantages
IconPrice
Disadvantages
Iconwifi
Unfortunately, the wifi was not very good. The comfort was impeccable, as the seats and the volume were pleasant. The service was equally satisfactory because of the friendliness. Cleanliness was top. Punctuality equally good. The price-performance ratio was good.
Advantages
IconStaff
IconCleanliness
Disadvantages
IconDelay
The journey from Nuremberg to Stuttgart didn't go quite as smoothly. We had to contend with a delay of over an hour, which meant I missed my connection. However, the staff were very friendly and the cleanliness in the ICE, especially in the toilet, was top notch. The seats were also very comfortable.
Advantages
IconFriendly and helpful staff
IconCleanliness and seating comfort
IconSufficient power sockets and a snack machine
Iconno change
Disadvantages
IconNo Internet connection despite Internet symbol
IconDelay of over 10 minutes
The occupancy rate on the train was not very high, so the noise level was pleasant. There was also a snack machine and plenty of power sockets. However, there was no stable internet connection, although there was an internet sign on the door. The staff here were friendly and even helped other passengers with their connections, as the train was delayed by more than 10 minutes and some connecting trains could no longer be reached. The staff also announced this clearly over the announcements on the train. Otherwise, the seating comfort and cleanliness on the train were perfect. There was also no need to change trains.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconService
Disadvantages
IconDuration
IconSeats
The journey had some positive aspects, but also a few negative ones. The negative aspects were that the train travelled rather slowly and the duration could have been significantly shorter if it had been a faster train. The second negative aspect was the seats, which were quite hard. The positives were the staff, who were very friendly, and the punctuality of the train. To summarise, the journey was reasonably good.
