DelayI travelled to Verona with my family for a few days. Instead of getting stuck for hours in the Brenner traffic jam by car, we opted for the fast and cheap train connection. The tickets were so cheap that we even decided to upgrade to first class.
Despite a slight delay, we arrived in Verona at midday.
Our compartment was really big and our fellow travellers were very pleasant company. However, we were lucky to find 4 free seats in one compartment. Next time we will definitely reserve seats.
Overall, the train was very clean, the staff were friendly and the views of the Alps and the Po Valley were fantastic. We didn't try the on-board restaurant or the Wi-Fi.
For 60 euros per person, it really is a great and relaxing way to travel!

You could also book extra luggage or the seat of your choice. To distract yourself during the journey, there was also wifi access on the bus. Unfortunately, there were no toilets on the bus. Furthermore, the staff was not really very friendly. For example, they did not help you load your luggage.
