It would be good if more carriages were attached to the train. The train was very full during the holiday season. Otherwise it is very punctual, reliable and has air conditioning. For older people, boarding could be problematic as the step into the train is relatively high. The comfort was very good, except that there were too few seats. The stops were always announced, but not displayed (difficult for tourists to understand). WCs were available. However, they were very dirty.

The journey from Malaga to Córdoba takes around an hour with Renfe Avant. The ticket can be booked quickly via the smartphone app. A seat is included. Boarding on the train ends two minutes before departure, which ensures that you leave on time. The comfort of the seats, the air conditioning and the travelling comfort were very good. The WCs could have been tidier. All in all, we can recommend travelling by train between Malaga and Córdoba.

I was able to gather both positive and a few negative impressions on the trip. The positive ones include the staff, who spoke excellent English, the punctuality and the fact that the network connection was very fast. Unfortunately, it wasn't particularly clean. I travelled on train number 57349 and there was no need to change trains. The journey took one hour.

The 10-hour journey on train 8942 went well overall. The train arrived on time and the changeover went smoothly. There were some extended periods where it was a little too crowded, although the seats were comfortable and the journey was largely quiet. With such a long journey, the Wi-Fi was often weak, which was a little worrying. The view was beautiful, the toilets on the train were decent. All in all, the journey was long but pleasant and had only minor inconveniences. There was no bistro.
