It was great that the train went through and I didn't have to change trains, plus the train was on time. The train was an older model, so the atmosphere was not so nice and there were a lot of people on the way. A big minus point was the heat in the train, as there was unfortunately no air conditioning. Despite everything, I would always take this connection again.

A direct connection from Mannheim on the ICE would be even more comfortable. It takes three hours to get from Heidelberg to Munich. It is usually the better alternative to the bus or car, as it is also quite cheap and there is no risk of traffic jams.

You have to cater for yourself. It was very clean and hygienic, the toilets were freshly cleaned. The service was very friendly. There are also booking options. The journey was quite long, but luckily we didn't have to change trains. The price-performance ratio is really great!
