The train connection was extremely punctual. The train departed exactly at the scheduled departure time and also arrived in Bremen at the agreed arrival time, which made it very easy to plan the journey. The cleanliness on the train was mostly satisfactory. The seats and floor were clean, but there were some empty plastic bottles on the tables. It would be nice if the cleaning staff came by more often during the journey. There were power sockets in most parts so you could charge your devices sufficiently. Unfortunately, some of the sockets were not in the best condition and had difficulty holding the devices. The train service was well suited for people with limited mobility. There were ramps for wheelchairs and plenty of space for wheelchair users. The train attendants were also helpful in assisting passengers with physical disabilities.

The train journey from Hamburg to Bremen on the ICE was an extremely pleasant and efficient travel experience that I can only recommend. The direct connection between the two cities proved to be particularly time-saving, making it an ideal choice for commuters or travellers with limited time. The journey began at the modern central station in Hamburg, an architectural gem that perfectly rounded off the start of this smooth journey. As soon as I boarded the train, I felt the pleasant atmosphere and the friendly service of the staff. ICE trains are not only known for their speed, but also for their comfort, and my experience confirmed this. The direct connection allowed for an efficient journey time of just under 1.5 hours, making the train journey an extremely time-saving option. This speed is not only an advantage for business travellers, but also for commuters who regularly travel between Hamburg and Bremen. It's amazing how the journey time is reduced compared to other modes of transport, which is invaluable, especially in today's fast-paced world. Another outstanding aspect of the ICE journey was the ability to use wifi throughout the journey. This modern convenience allows commuters to utilise their working time effectively and complete tasks while sitting comfortably on the train. The stability of the internet connection was impressive, making the ICE an ideal choice for business travellers who want to be productive on the move. The seats on the train were comfortable and ergonomically designed, making the journey even more enjoyable. The generous legroom and the ability to adjust the seat as required helped to make the journey relaxed and stress-free. The on-board catering also offered a variety of culinary options so that passengers could indulge themselves during the short journey time. Overall, my train journey from Hamburg to Bremen on the ICE was an all-round positive experience. The direct connection, the short journey time, the ability to work productively with wifi and the high level of comfort of the train make this connection an excellent choice for anyone travelling between these two cities. I am already looking forward to my next journey with the ICE and can recommend this connection without reservation. Despite the many advantages of the direct ICE connection from Hamburg to Bremen, it is important to note that this connection is not available as frequently as the regional train. While the regional train may run at shorter intervals, the ICE offers an efficient and faster option for those who are pressed for time. It is advisable to check timetables in advance and consider the individual needs of the journey. The regional train may be more flexible in terms of frequency of departures, but for commuters or business travellers who rely on a fast connection, the advantages of the ICE outweigh the disadvantages. Despite the somewhat limited timetable options of the ICE, my overall experience was extremely positive. The combination of high speed, comfort and the ability to work productively with wifi makes the direct connection a first-class choice. Planning your journey times and utilising the availability of the ICE to suit your needs are key factors in making the most of this efficient connection. Considering the overall balance, I would still recommend the direct ICE connection, especially for travellers looking for a balance between efficiency and convenience. However, if you can be more flexible with departure times, the regional train is a good alternative for commuting between Hamburg and Bremen.

The journey from Hamburg Central Station to Bremen was a very pleasant one. The train looked very clean and tidy from the outside, as well as from the inside. The train left on time at 13:45 and arrived in Bremen an hour later. The toilets on the train were clean and pleasant to use. During the journey, the staff were always available to answer any questions. The price of the ticket was also reasonable. A highly recommended journey.
