The trains were very well equipped, there were power sockets available, the toilets were very clean. There were enough seats even without a seat reservation. There was no wifi on board, but it is not necessary for the fifteen-minute journey. After arriving in Vienna, one has access to several transfer options such as trams, undergrounds, express trains, etc. I made the journey in 2020 for €4.70. The trains that run on this route are mostly new trains with modern and spacious equipment. As long as you avoid rush hour, you can get a seat without a reservation. The staff on board are very friendly and polite.

The train ride from Gramatneusiedl to Vienna with the Top Youth Ticket was a mixed experience overall, the train offered a touch of luxury, was fast and has amenities such as a toilet and wifi. The interior was attractive and comfortable, but there were some negative aspects. The unpunctuality of the train was disappointing and caused inconvenience, furthermore it was frustrating that there was no guaranteed seat. Overall, the journey would have been a much more pleasant experience with a reliable schedule and a guaranteed seat. Nonetheless, the comfort, availability of other amenities on the train was commendable. I will definitely travel by train again.
