Advantages
IconCheap ticket
IconSecondary seat bookable
Disadvantages
IconSome delay on departure
The journey was unfortunately not on time this time and we were about 20 minutes late for departure, but still arrived in Hanover almost on time. The train seemed older, but was clean and fresh. The seats are relatively cramped and I therefore book the next seat to have enough space and to be able to travel undisturbed. The seats and the ticket are cheap, so I don't think there's much to complain about. Again with pleasure and to be recommended.
Advantages
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconDirty toilet
The journey from Dortmund to Hanover was by IC train and was very pleasant. The journey was short, less than 2 hours. It was very comfortable on board, which was due to the seats. I even allowed myself a little nap. As far as I remember, there were no delays. The carriages were clean, but the toilets were a little dirty. Improvements should be made here. Otherwise a recommendable connection.
Advantages
IconOnly three stations (Hamm, Bielefeld, Hanover)
IconBeautiful view during the journey through Porta Westfalica
IconClean and warm trains
Disadvantages
IconMore frequent delays
IconWifi does not always work
The journey from Dortmund to Hanover is usually very fast because there are only three stations. However, sometimes there are delays and the wifi is not always reliable to work with. The view is beautiful and the trains are usually clean and quiet, so I like travelling by train on the line.
Advantages
IconInexpensive ticket
IconClean train
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi signal
The second price from Dortmund to Hanover was on the IC train. It was a pleasant, short journey with no delays. I also got a seat despite not having a reservation. It was clean and tidy on board, which also applied to the toilets. The train was equipped with power sockets and wifi. However, the signal could still be improved. Nevertheless, it was a good connection, also in terms of the price of the ticket.
Advantages
IconClean
IconGood service
Disadvantages
IconMinor delay
There were picturesque landscapes to see on my journey from Dortmund to Hanover. The train itself was in good condition, it was clean and hygienic. The service was good, as the staff were always friendly. The train arrived in Hanover with a slight delay. The journey was short, just under 2 hours. It was a direct journey. The price of the journey was also okay. I can recommend this connection.
Advantages
IconSuper wifi on the train
The train connection was extremely punctual, which allowed me to start my journey stress-free. The price-performance ratio was very good. The cost of the ticket was reasonable and justified. The train was in a clean condition and the staff created a pleasant atmosphere during the journey. Cleanliness and hygiene were obviously taken seriously. The free wifi on board worked great. It allowed me to be productive during the journey and stay connected to the outside world. The toilets were clean and well maintained. Hygiene conditions were maintained throughout the journey. The seats were comfortable and ergonomically designed. Even on longer journeys, I did not feel uncomfortable. Overall, a first-class train service that impressed in all aspects.
Advantages
IconSimple booking
IconComfortable
IconFast
Disadvantages
IconNone
My nephew often travels this route as part of his training. The ticket can be booked quickly and easily online, even with a seat reservation. You also have free wifi and power sockets. The train runs through on the route and you don't have to change trains, which I think is an advantage. The seats, carriages and toilets are clean. The staff on the train are friendly and helpful. There is also a canteen on the train, but it is a bit expensive.
Advantages
IconSmooth booking
IconFast
Disadvantages
IconActually none
Booking the ticket worked wonderfully, thanks to the clear app. The train arrived with a minimal delay of 10 minutes. Boarding was easy and there were plenty of seats available. They were comfortable and looked freshly cleaned. The train was tidy, the windows were clean and it smelled pleasant. The toilet was spacious, clean and well equipped. I arrived at my destination slightly late, which was not a tragedy. My conclusion: a train connection worth recommending.
