Advantages
IconIt was quiet
IconFriendly staff
IconClean train
IconComfortable seats with generous equipment
IconOn time and without changing trains
Disadvantages
IconTrain was full
I didn't have to change trains from Berlin to Rostock and the train was on time. Although it was full, it was relatively quiet. I found the seats in particular very comfortable and the great facilities with power sockets and internet, as well as lots of reclining seats and legroom. The staff there were friendly and the train was clean. Overall, a very good trip.
Advantages
IconComfortable seating
IconFast connection
IconDirectly to your destination without changing
IconClean train
Disadvantages
IconNo internet on the track
IconToilets a little dirty
The advantage of travelling on a long-distance train is that there is a power socket at every seat for charging the phone. The journey from Berlin HBF to Rostock HBF is pleasant and highly recommended without changing trains. With the option of reserving a seat, I have never had to stand on the connection. Due to the small number of stops, this connection is usually on time. The staff on board are friendly and courteous. However, the reception on this connection is relatively poor, which is why you only receive internet sporadically. This also affects the wifi on the train, which is hardly usable. Travelling with Deutsche Bahn from Berlin to Rostock is definitely recommendable. The price-performance ratio is reasonable, so I recommend this to everyone.
Advantages
IconUncomplicated transfers
IconFriendly staff
IconClean and modern trains
Disadvantages
IconNone
A very relaxed and pleasant journey from Berlin to Rostock. I did have to change trains, but this was quite straightforward thanks to the good signposting at the station. The trains were not particularly busy and so I always got a seat. This made the journey very pleasant. The trains were comfortable, clean and modern. The staff on board were available for questions and suggestions.
Advantages
IconNo delay
IconUncomplicated changeover
IconService
Disadvantages
IconNone
During my journey from Berlin Central Station to Rostock, I had to change trains a few times. I didn't find it too bad, as the times were well calculated and the signposting was intuitive, so you couldn't get lost. The service on the trains was great, as the staff were very helpful and open to questions. In addition, all trains arrived without delay. I can recommend this connection.
Advantages
IconClean trains
IconPunctuality
Disadvantages
IconHigh prices in the bistro
IconNo beautiful landscapes
The journey from Berlin to Rostock involved a lot of changing trains, but was still quite pleasant. The trains were all on time and seemed technically flawless to me. On board you could order tasty snacks and coffee in the bistro. However, the prices were a little excessive in my opinion. The trains also have wifi and power sockets. The scenery along the route was not particularly pretty.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconHigh prices in the bistro
The train journey from Berlin to Rostock was a largely successful experience. I had to change trains a few times, but this went without a hitch. The on-board catering offered a good selection, but at slightly higher prices. The train itself was clean and well equipped. The journey was quiet and comfortable, without any noticeable jolting. I reached my destination without any significant delay.
Advantages
IconNo delay
IconUncomplicated transfers
Disadvantages
IconPartly dirty trains
I travelled from Berlin to Rostock by train and had to change trains several times. The changes went smoothly because there was enough time and the tracks were well signposted. Some of the trains were clean, but some were quite dirty. However, it has to be said that all the trains were on time. I also got a seat, despite not having a reservation. All in all, not an exceptional journey.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconFast journey time
IconWIFI
Disadvantages
IconLoud announcements in the morning
IconUnkempt platforms in Berlin
IconCold
The journey from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Rostock with Deutsche Bahn was entertaining as I was travelling on a newer IC train. The station in Berlin Hauptbahnhof was not cleaned, platforms were partly dirty. On the train itself I had a seat in 2nd class. The train was about 60% full. The wifi worked perfectly over the entire route. I would choose the train again, even if the toilets were a bit dirty and the train attendant was unfriendly. There were a lot of commuters travelling that day. The return journey was more relaxed, comfortable seats on the IC.
Advantages
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconDuration
I have to say that I was really pleased. The train was on time, there was only one brief stop on the route because a train had to overtake us. I also had a seat, even though I hadn't made a reservation. The wifi worked but unfortunately with a very slow internet connection. The price is definitely okay and I would do the journey again if it comes up
Advantages
IconPunctuality
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconDefective air conditioning system
IconOverstretched staff
The journey from Berlin to Rostock involved several changes of trains. I was delighted with the punctuality of the trains. The trains were also comfortably equipped. The compartment was generally very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. The on-board staff seemed overwhelmed and there was hardly any choice in the dining car. In addition, the air conditioning was faulty on one train, which made the journey a little uncomfortable as usual.
