Too fullMy train journey from Dresden to Berlin was overall enjoyable. The fast internet and the reliability of the train deserve special mention. I was able to work productively and the journey went smoothly. Unfortunately, the train was quite full, which made the journey a little less comfortable. Nevertheless, the positives outweigh the negatives for business travellers and those who need to travel online, this train connection is an excellent choice.

Slight delayThe journey with Deutsche Bahn from Dresden to Berlin went almost smoothly, except for a small delay. The train was comfortable and equipped with wifi, as well as power sockets. The service staff are friendly and courteous. The toilets are relatively clean. Unfortunately, I had to change trains several times to get to my destination. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is reasonable if you book the ticket in time.

The train arrived on time and as I had not booked a seat reservation, it was a bit difficult to find a seat at first. After I was able to get a seat, the rest of the journey was without complications. Thanks to the power sockets under the seats, I was able to charge my notebook, which I worked on while I was travelling. As expected, the wifi was unfortunately very busy and correspondingly poor.
We arrived at Südkreuz 10 minutes before we were supposed to and I can only recommend this connection compared to the alternative with the regional trains.
