Buses From Florence To Venice: Journey Details
Buses offer a fast and convenient way to travel the scenic route between Florence and Venice with Eurolines and Megabus both offering daily departures, the trip takes around 5 hours. Two other daily services are run by Baltour and require a change of coach in Bologna. Megabus offers 2 services per day departing at 5:25 a.m. and 5:25 p.m. The trip takes around 3 hours and 50 minutes and it makes one stop at Autostazione Viale della Pace in Padua.
Taking Buses from Florence to Venice
Megabus coaches to Venice depart from the Piazzale Montelungo on Viale Filippo Strozz. This is centrally located the near SITA bus station (Florence Autostazione), a few hundred metres from Florence's main train station, Santa Maria Novella (Firenze Santa Maria Novella). Eurolines buses depart from the SITA bus depot itself. Florence is a compact city and well-served with public buses run by ATAF and LI-NEA. It also has a tram line that runs from Scandicci in the south west to the train station.
Getting into Venice by Bus
