In addition to these two direct services, there are connecting routes via Lille, Paris and Amsterdam. The direct travel times are scheduled at around seven hours 20 minutes by day or nine hours for the overnight journey.
The direct services on the Antwerp to London route are provided by Ouibus, which is part of the SNCF group that operates the French railways. Ouibus also provides longer, connecting services. Europe-wide operator Eurolines also provides a number of daily departures: these longer routes involve an intermediate change and stopover in Paris, Lille, Brussels or Amsterdam.
Coaches between Antwerp and London are scheduled at approximately seven hours 20 minutes, although overnight journeys have a longer travel time of between nine hours and nine hours 20 minutes: this allows for more convenient arrival and departure times in both cities. It’s worth noting that travel times are subject to traffic and other operators.
Ouibus offers two direct services between Antwerp and London every day. Over 15 further Eurolines or Ouibus services depart every weekday but these all involve one or more intermediate stops and all have a considerably longer total journey time of up to 17 hours 30 minutes.
Departure coach station: Located on the banks of the River Schelde, Plantinkaai Bus Station is around 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. Alternatively, it’s a few minutes to Sint-Andries tram stop, which connects to Antwerp South station (Station Zuid, on line 4) and Berchem station (line 4) or the main station (Antwerpen Centraal, line 12).
Arrival coach station: All services arrive at London's Victoria Coach Station, the city’s international terminus and the main departure station for onward travel in the United Kingdom.
