Buses are an excellent choice for travelling from Cardiff to London with National Express offering 20 daily services and Megabus operating 15. The first National Express departure is at 2:40 a.m. and services run throughout the day until 8:00 p.m. Services are direct, calling at Newport, and Chepstow. The first Megabus service leaves at 4:40 a.m. and the last at 11:45 p.m. Journey time ranges from 3 hours up to 5 hours and 45 minutes for certain Megabus routes which involve many stops.
Departure Station: National Express coaches depart from Sophia Gardens. Passengers can get here on bus 28 from Queen Street or X1 from Cardiff Central, each taking around 20 minutes. Megabus coaches leave from Kingsway (Stop GQ) in the centre of the city.
Arrival Station: Buses from Cardiff to London arrive at Victoria Coach Station. Passengers can continue on buses 22, 211, 239, C1 and and the N11 night service which stop in front of the station, and it’s a 300-metre walk to Victoria tube and rail stations.
