The train departed exactly at the scheduled departure time and arrived at its destination just as punctually. This contributed significantly to a stress-free travelling experience. The train was generally clean and well maintained. The seats, windows and floor were in good condition. However, there was occasional rubbish or litter on the floors in some areas. A big plus was the availability of power outlets in most aisles. This allowed passengers to charge their devices and work productively. The train service provided adequate, accessible facilities for people with reduced mobility. There were ramps for wheelchair users and reserved seats, but the availability of accessible toilets could have been improved. The toilets were in acceptable condition but could be cleaned more regularly. Overall a solid travelling experience.

The ticket price was reasonable compared to other means of transport. There were also various discounts and offers that reduced the cost of the journey somewhat. A good value for money, the overall cleanliness of the train was satisfactory. The seats and floors were clean and the staff regularly tidied up. However, some areas could be cleaned a little more thoroughly. The toilets on the train were averagely clean, but there were moments when they were simply overcrowded. The seats were comfortable and offered enough legroom. The ability to recline the seat contributed to a pleasant travelling experience. The cleanliness of the seats was also commendable, overall the train journey was pleasant and recommendable.

Cramped toiletsI was able to use my Thalys miles for a free journey on Thalys 9471 from Brussels via Cologne to Dortmund. The journey time to Cologne was a little under two hours, which I found extremely quick. I really liked the design of the train and the seating comfort, I had a seat reserved for me. The only criticisms were the very cramped (but clean) toilets and the very limited wifi. The staff, on the other hand, were very friendly and multilingual.

The train number was ICE 13 and the service was ok as they showed me to my seat but were a bit hectic. The seats were comfortable and the view was very nice. Unfortunately there were no power sockets and my mobile phone was empty, but that didn't matter thanks to the view. The toilets and seats were all very clean. There was a slight delay. The price was good for the journey. I recommend travelling with ICE to anyone looking for an alternative to driving.

In addition, the train was very hygienic, as were the toilets. I can only recommend this connection to anyone.

Even in the on-board bistro, it seemed as if I wasn't being served or that I was being processed quite quickly. Nevertheless, the train was kept relatively clean and there was no rubbish on the floor. The wifi was also slower than I'm used to. Nevertheless, I am glad to have arrived at my destination within 2 hours and the beautiful view was a good distraction
