The train connection from Brussels to Cologne was exceptionally punctual. The train departed exactly at the scheduled departure time and arrived at its destination just as punctually. This contributed significantly to a stress-free travelling experience. The train was generally clean and well maintained. The seats, windows and floor were in good condition. However, there was occasional rubbish or litter on the floors in some areas. A big plus was the availability of power outlets in most aisles. This allowed passengers to charge their devices and work productively. The train service provided adequate, accessible facilities for people with reduced mobility. There were ramps for wheelchair users and reserved seats, but the availability of accessible toilets could have been improved. The toilets were in acceptable condition but could be cleaned more regularly. Overall a solid travelling experience.

The train connection was extremely punctual. Both the departure and arrival were exactly on schedule. The ticket price was reasonable compared to other means of transport. There were also various discounts and offers that reduced the cost of the journey somewhat. A good value for money, the overall cleanliness of the train was satisfactory. The seats and floors were clean and the staff regularly tidied up. However, some areas could be cleaned a little more thoroughly. The toilets on the train were averagely clean, but there were moments when they were simply overcrowded. The seats were comfortable and offered enough legroom. The ability to recline the seat contributed to a pleasant travelling experience. The cleanliness of the seats was also commendable, overall the train journey was pleasant and recommendable.

I was able to use my Thalys miles for a free journey on Thalys 9471 from Brussels via Cologne to Dortmund. The journey time to Cologne was a little under two hours, which I found extremely quick. I really liked the design of the train and the seating comfort, I had a seat reserved for me. The only criticisms were the very cramped (but clean) toilets and the very limited wifi. The staff, on the other hand, were very friendly and multilingual.

The ICE 15 departed on time from Brussels to Cologne at 10:25. The Brussels-Cologne connection is possible without changing trains, which makes travelling very pleasant. The wifi was good enough to do all sorts of things with my laptop. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and helped me with my luggage. I can only recommend the ICE to anyone.

What I really liked about this journey was the ease of booking and not having to change trains. I also thought it was great that I reached my destination quickly and that the toilets and the train were clean and tidy. The timetable was like this: I got on at 8:20 and arrived after 2 hours at about 10:20. The train number was ICE 13 and the service was ok as they showed me to my seat but were a bit hectic. The seats were comfortable and the view was very nice. Unfortunately there were no power sockets and my mobile phone was empty, but that didn't matter thanks to the view. The toilets and seats were all very clean. There was a slight delay. The price was good for the journey. I recommend travelling with ICE to anyone looking for an alternative to driving.

Timetable: no delays, without changing trains. I recommend reserving a seat to avoid any problems. The journey time on the ICE 11 was 2 hours. The comfort was ok, not perfect, but good for the short journey. There was wifi, but no power sockets. The service was simple and friendly. Everything was clean, unfortunately the toilet was locked. The ICE 317 left Brussels on 01.05.24 on time. I didn't have to change trains to get to Cologne. The wifi on the train was flawless and I was able to work without any problems. The seats are very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous and were able to provide information about getting off at the station on request. In addition, the train was very hygienic, as were the toilets. I can only recommend this connection to anyone.

I travelled back to Cologne on the IC16. Unfortunately, in contrast to the journey there, there was hardly any service on the return journey. Even in the on-board bistro, it seemed as if I wasn't being served or that I was being processed quite quickly. Nevertheless, the train was kept relatively clean and there was no rubbish on the floor. The wifi was also slower than I'm used to. Nevertheless, I am glad to have arrived at my destination within 2 hours and the beautiful view was a good distraction

I was able to buy the ticket for a very customer-friendly price. Another positive aspect is that the toilets were thoroughly cleaned and I found them to be extremely hygienic. I travelled to Cologne on the ICE16. The journey took a little longer than expected and I arrived after about 2 hours. The service made the still relatively short journey very pleasant and I was able to fortify myself with delicious food in the on-board bistro and enjoy the view. The price was just too expensive for the already short journey. In comparison, I paid less for longer journeys. The hygiene on the train was also acceptable, but not ideal

The train staff were super friendly as usual, but unfortunately we arrived at our destination station Cologne main station about 15 minutes late. The journey itself took just under 2 hours and the seats were comfortable. The wifi worked perfectly and sockets were also available directly at the seat. The train was well cleaned and it was pleasantly quiet in my compartment. Unfortunately, the toilet was so dirty that you couldn't use it.

The advantages of the journey were the hygiene in the sanitary facilities as well as in the compartment, the good internet connection and not to forget the good price for the ticket. There was only one negative aspect. The staff didn't show much interest in answering my questions. They also spoke little to no English, which is why I unfortunately have to deduct one star from the train journey. The journey took 2 hours.
