I travelled by train from Munich to Budapest and the beginning of the journey was from Munich to Salzburg. The nice service was a big part of the good comfort. Unfortunately, the wifi and hygiene were particularly bad this time, as the rubbish bins were not emptied. Nevertheless, the train journey is very inexpensive and fuel-saving.

My trip to Hungary started with the station from Munich to Salzburg and my first and foremost complaint is that the trains are very late. This leads to stress later when changing trains, as the journey times never coincide. Nevertheless, I can report positively on the comfort during the journey, and the wifi didn't cause any major problems this time either. I'm a bit bothered by the poor hygiene in the toilets and restrooms, but you have to deal with that. Overall, I am satisfied with the price.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconSlight delay
Basically, it was a very pleasant train ride with a fast connection to Salzburg. On the way, there was a longer standing time at one stop, which was unplanned. Due to the late evening hour, the train was not fully booked and therefore relatively quiet. The wifi connection worked quite well. The seat was clean. The train attendants were friendly and the announcements were easy to understand. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine.

Disadvantages

IconPersonnel
As the train was very full, it was not possible to use wifi, power sockets or seats. It was therefore also relatively noisy on the train. The staff were probably a bit annoyed because of this and therefore not necessarily friendly. The toilets were also not particularly hygienic. Nevertheless, the journey went by relatively quickly and we arrived on time.
