I travelled on the Lucerne-Interlaken Express 2932 from Lucerne to Interlaken Ost on time in less than two hours. The route offers a fantastic view, which I was able to admire through the large panoramic windows: Lake Sarnen, Lake Lungern and Lake Brienz look gorgeous, especially with the mountains of the Alps together. The 1st class cabin was very spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately there was no wifi. The cleanliness was top notch and the control staff were very friendly. Information about the route was available as a map on the tables and with the times on the screens. It would have been possible to reserve a seat, but I didn't need one (I had an Interrail ticket and was travelling spontaneously).

We travelled from Lucerne to Interlaken on the Lucerne-Interlaken Express 2932. We used our 1st class Interrail ticket and didn't need a seat reservation for the journey. The leather seats are very comfortable and there is plenty of room. There are also luggage compartments. The panoramic windows from which you can admire the Swiss lakes and mountains are a highlight. The view is particularly spectacular after the stop in Lungern! The train travels this route directly in just under two hours and, as is typical in Switzerland, it was on time. It also travelled at a fairly leisurely pace due to the gradients. The toilets were clean and adequately sized. There was no wifi, but there were information screens with news and adverts.

My journey from Lucerne to Interlaken on the RE 1254 train was just perfect! My road trip from Lucerne to Interlaken on the RE 124 train was just great! The train left Lucerne station on time and reached Interlaken in exactly 41 minutes, which unexpectedly confused me as I was expecting a longer journey. The journey was breathtaking and took me through picturesque landscapes, which I enjoyed through the large glass windows on board the modern, cosy locomotive. The train was beautifully tidy and in good condition, and the seats were very comfortable. The journey was also quiet and pleasant, with no disruptions. The train staff were nice and made sure that people felt comfortable on the train. I was particularly impressed by the good connections to other means of transport in Interlaken - everything was expertly organised and I was able to make my connection without any problems. The journey took 41 minutes and was just right for a quick and enjoyable excursion. The route from Lucerne to Interlaken is certainly one of the most beautiful rail journeys in Switzerland, and on board this cosy train the journey was thoroughly enjoyable.

The journey from Lucerne to Interlaken took a little longer as I had to change trains in Olten. Both trains were on time, so the changeover went smoothly. The trains were at normal capacity, so it wasn't too noisy on the train. The cleanliness and hygiene on the train and in the toilets was also okay. However, there was no staff on the first train. On the second train, the staff were very knowledgeable and provided personalised transfer options and directions. The facilities were very good with power sockets and wifi and the seats were comfortable. All in all, a very good journey!
