Which train companies offer trains to Liverpool?
Five train companies currently offer trains to Liverpool. Northern operates the majority of services, connecting the city with Manchester, Blackpool, Wigan, Warrington and Crewe. TransPennine Express connects the city to Newcastle and Scarborough. Virgin Trains links London Euston with Liverpool, and also calls at several other stations, including Stafford, Crewe and Runcorn. London Northwestern Railway provides an alternative service, via Birmingham, from London Euston. Finally, Transport for Wales runs services between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street.
