I travelled by train from Stuttgart main station via Karlsruhe to Offenburg in January 2023. Everything was great. The train connection was on time and I easily reached the connecting train. The comfortable seats on the regional train deserve a mention. The RE7 also has two boarding points for handicapped persons. Unfortunately, there is no toilet. The train runs quietly and comfortably, so that working on a laptop is guaranteed. It is definitely recommended to reserve a seat in advance. I am very satisfied and will definitely travel with DB again.
