My train journey from Innsbruck to Munich was unfortunately very disappointing for me. The train was anything but modern, there was no wifi and the power sockets didn't work. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, which did not make the journey uncomfortable. The only positive, for me, were the clean toilets and the quiet atmosphere on the train. The whole train journey was not recommendable due to the negative points and I even decided to go back by bus. I cannot recommend this train journey to anyone!

A little over a year ago, I took the ICE from Innsbruck to Munich. I enjoyed the journey despite the poor hygienic condition of the train and especially the toilets. Wifi and air conditioning worked and the train was almost empty and quite quiet. Therefore a very comfortable journey! I arrived in Munich on time without changing trains.

The journey was on a EuroCity train coming from Italy. The train was quite full as it travelled with fewer carriages than planned, but with a bit of luck you could get a seat. Overall, the EuroCity train was very old, and there were no comfortable seats or functioning wifi. In the end, I arrived on time and was able to make my connections.
