On my journey from Zurich to Karlsruhe, I also travelled this section from Basel to Freiburg. There were plenty of power sockets, as you would expect from an ICE. The wifi also worked without any problems despite the rather full train. The train and the toilets were clean and the train left Basel on time and arrived in Freiburg on time. The price-performance ratio is great, as long as you get a saver fare.

I bought the ticket online to get from Basel to Freiburg. The staff were very nice and understanding despite the late hour. There was no dirt to be seen and the wifi was surprisingly good. The only thing I have to criticise is the fact that we arrived late due to repairs on a train. The train, seats and aisles were spotless.
