Germany boasts an extensive railway network that makes travelling by train a common way to get around the country. Hamburg Hauptbahnhof

One of the busiest stations in Germany, Hamburg Hauptbahnhof sees almost 450,000 passengers every day. As such it is also one of the busiest stations in Europe. Trains from this station are run by Deutsche Bahn, and some of the services you will find here include Information Service, Travel Centre, toilets, left luggage storage, car hire, free Wi-Fi for 30 minutes, Deutsche Bahn Lounge, accessibility services, taxi ranks, connections to local transport and a choice of shops and restaurants.

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof

The Hauptbahnhof, or central station, in Frankfurt is on par with Hamburg Hauptbahnhof for being one of the busiest stations in Germany as it also sees around 450,000 passengers each day. Journeys to and from this station are operated by Deutsche Bahn (DB) and many ICE trains can be taken from here. Some of the facilities available at this station include a selection of shopping and restaurants, free Wi-Fi for 30 minutes, a Travel Centre, DB Information, DB Lounge, toilets and family facilities, connections to local transport, car hire, left luggage, accessibility services, cash points and a taxi rank.

München Hauptbahnhof

This large station in Bavaria's capital also handles over 400,000 passengers every day. The station serves a number of long-distance trains, the majority of which are run by Deutsche Bahn. Facilities found at this station include DB Information, restaurants and shopping, a Travel Centre, DB Lounge, connections to local transport, family facilities and toilets, cash points, taxis, left luggage, accessibility services and 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi.
