Weymouth
Weymouth is located on the south coast of England in the county of Dorset and is a popular choice for holidays and breaks. It is close to the famous Jurassic Coast, as local stretch of coastline where rock formations and fossils are often discovered that date back to prehistoric times. Those who prefer more modern pursuits will enjoy shopping in Weymouth, and the golden sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The elegant Georgian buildings on the sea front are impressive and are dominated by the red clock tower. The nearby island of Portland is a great contrast to the beach with its rugged shorelines and hidden coves, and is an exciting place for children to explore.
