Coaches to Utrecht

Utrecht has an extensive coach network operating throughout the city offered by U-OV, a subsidiary of the NS railway company. There are over 30 coach routes throughout Utrecht and connect the various parts of the city. Most of the coach stops are concentrated around the coachy city centre, and Utrecht Central Station in particular. For intercity travel, Arriva operate 6 coach routes which connect to destinations such as Leerdam, Rotterdam, Tienhoven, and Nieuw-Lekkerland. There are 3 main coach stations, North, South, and East, all of which are within a short walking distance of the city centre.

Many coaches to Utrecht travel directly to, or just a short hop away from some of the city's most iconic and exciting attractions. The city is highly historic, with many structures and public spaces dating back to the High Middle Ages. Of course, there are plenty of modern attractions and activities, from Utrecht FC Stadium to Jaarbeurgs Exhibition Centre, and coachy shopping streets such as Lijnmark, Oude Gracht, and Choorstraat. Although much of the city has undergone extensive restoration in recent years to transform it into a thriving metropolitan destination, the historic city centre still retains plenty of character from the Dutch Golden Age. Many related attractions include the Duitse Huis (German House) with its many artifacts dating back to the 13th century, the 14th century Dom (Cathedral), and like many other Dutch cities, the Oudegracht (Old Canal) lined with dozens of shops and restaurants.
