Rooted in Roman history, Stevenage is an idyllic town situated around 50 km north of London. Stevenage boasts an intricate network of bike lanes and a pedestrianised shopping precinct - the first of its kind in the UK. There are numerous open parks where you can try your hand at sailing, fishing, windsurfing, or canoeing. Local attractions include Church Farm, Knebworth House, Boxfield Art Gallery, Hatfield House, St Nicholas Church and Duxford Air Museum. Interestingly, several productions have been filmed in the area, including Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush and Spy Game.
