Terminal Rodoviário Sete Rios Bus Station is located two miles from the centre of Lisbon, next to Lisbon Zoo. It has toilets and a ticket office, and trains and buses leave for central Lisbon every few minutes. Gare Oriente Bus Station is situated in the north of Lisbon, around five miles from the city centre. There are shops, cafes, toilets, and ATMs in the train station next to the bus station, and regular public transport lines into central Lisbon.
Coaches from Lagos to Lisbon are provided by Renex, Rede Expressos, and EVA Transportes. EVA Transportes provides the fastest service, and all providers run direct buses.
Renex generally offer the most services each day, with six buses leaving day and night. They usually have a journey time of around four hours.
Rede Expressos usually provides three direct buses per day, and they usually take between three hours and 45 minutes to four hours and 15 minutes.
EVA Transportes usually offer one coach from Lagos to Lisbon each day, at around 9:30 a.m. It is the fastest bus service on offer and takes around three and a half hours.
Renex and EVA Transportes are both part of the Rede Expressos company umbrella, so all three have the same policies on luggage, pets, and disabled passengers. Most coach providers in Portugal allow folding wheelchairs to be stowed in the hold of the bus but request that passengers travel with a companion to help them on and off the bus. Others may have space for wheelchairs at the front of the bus as well as ramps and lifts, but this can differ depending on the provider and the route.
