I travelled to Amsterdam with a few friends to spend a few nice days there. I found it very convenient that you can travel directly to Amsterdam with Flixbus. In total, it took us about seven and a half hours to get there and the bus journey was easy to endure. There were a few free seats on the bus, so you weren't too close to the other passengers. I found it practical that you could also buy drinks and small snacks from the driver. For me, the bus is still the best way to travel between Heidelberg and Amsterdam. Thumbs up in every respect!
