Between these three operators, it's just about possible to enjoy travel options throughout the day. Most buses from Brussels to Munich will stop off in Cologne or Dusseldorf before continuing. Journey time can be anywhere from 13 to 20 hours and overnight travel is definitely to be expected.
Departures will be from the Brussels North or Brussels South railway stations. The later is the largest in the city, and is around 4 km from the city centre, or a short 10-minute bus journey. Brussels North also has excellent public transport links, and is only around 2.4 km from the city's main sites. A taxi is of course a convenient option, but with regular bus and train services around the city, it couldn't be easier to begin this European adventure.
