Takes longer than by trainThe bus journey from Bratislava to Vienna was a very positive experience and deserves five stars. The bus was comfortable and the journey was much cheaper than the train. The nice bus driver also contributed to a pleasant journey. Although the journey took a little longer than by train, the value for money and comfort more than made up for it. All in all, a highly recommended alternative to the train!

There was a relaxed atmosphere on board, the driver was friendly and the seats were more comfortable than I expected. With a journey time of just over an hour, it's a quick connection that's perfect for short trips. What I liked, which is not always the norm on other bus journeys, was the driver's calm driving style. The view out of the window was also a nice change. There was something calming about the villages and fields we passed. Unfortunately there was no wifi, although this was mentioned when we booked. It was a little disappointing. Still, overall it was an easy and inexpensive option.

The journey took about 1 hour, which is ideal for the short distance. The bus was on time, clean and well equipped with wifi and power sockets. The journey went smoothly and the border controls were quick. The prices were fair and it was a convenient way to travel between the two cities. The only minor drawback was that the bus was a little late leaving Bratislava. Otherwise a recommended travel option.

It should also be noted that there is a stop at Vienna Schwechat Airport, which extends the journey time somewhat. Nevertheless, I think that the bus is the best transport option between the two metropolises.
