There are a number of options for getting from Manchester to Liverpool by bus. National Express offers over 30 buses departing over the course of the day. Terravision operates bus services between Manchester Centre Sackville and Liverpool Airport which takes 40 minutes. There are approximately 17 services per day.

Trains from Manchester to Liverpool

There are three stations in Manchester that have direct services to Liverpool Lime Street: Piccadilly, Victoria and Oxford Road. Services start just after 5:00 a.m. and are operated by Northern Rail and Transpennine Express. The journey takes between 45 minutes and 1hr 20mins. The last daily service is just after 11:00 p.m. and there are up to 8 services per hour throughout the day.
