Flights from Dublin to Bristol : Journey Details

Aer Lingus and Ryanair are the only airlines providing direct flights from Dublin to Bristol. The average flight time of a direct flight is one hour. Other airlines fly this route but they include a stop over, the longest being 25 hours, and some include connecting flights. The earliest flight departing Dublin is at 5.50 a.m. and the last one leaves at 8.55 p.m. There are generally one or two flights per hour, approximately 35 flights a week and the prices are marginally higher from April to October.

Taking a Flight from Dublin

Dublin Airport is in Collinstown, 10km north of central Dublin. A taxi from the city centre can cost between EUR20-EUR35 depending on the traffic. The Airlink 747 bus runs from the city centre and Dublin Connolly and Dublin Heuston train stations. Aircoach operate 24-hour services out to the airport, and routes 704X and 705X are express services. Dublin Bus routes 16 and 41 are cheaper buses that run through the city to the airport.

Flying into Bristol

Bristol is a city in southwest England. In the 1500s, the port was the departure point for boats setting off for the New World. In recent years, it has become a hub for science-based technologies and performing arts. In the 1990s many Bristol bands, including Massive Attack and Tricky, became popular and helped create the music genre 'Trip hop'. Bristol Airport is in Lulsgate Bottom, 13km southwest of Bristol city centre. The Bristol Airport Flyer bus A1 runs to Temple Meads train station and Bristol Bus Station, in central Bristol, every eight minutes during peak times. The journey to Temple Meads takes 25 minutes and the service runs 24 hours a day. Arrow Cars is the on-site taxi company, providing taxis and minibus services to the city.
