Iconthe internet connection was missing on the second train
To get from Gelsenkirchen to Oberhausen, you had to change trains once in Duisburg. The changeover time here was so well adjusted that you had enough time to change trains, but also didn't have to wait long. Both trains were not fully utilised and it was therefore very quiet. Both trains had comfortable seats and good equipment. Only the second train lacked an internet connection. Otherwise, there were conductors on both trains and there were catering facilities. It was also very clean and the toilets were hygienic. As none of the trains were late and the changeover went smoothly, I found this journey very good!
