The train is a really good alternative for the route from Friedrichshafen to Stuttgart. The price for a ticket is fair and you are at least as fast as by car. The frequency of the train is also good. On my day of travel, the train was very crowded and a bit messy. I would like the train to be cleaner in the future. However, if I ever travel in this region again, I will definitely choose the train.

I travelled by train from Friedrichshafen to Stuttgart and the experience was good. The train was quiet and comfortable. You can reserve a seat if you want to, but you can also travel without seat reservation (that was my case and I didn't have any problems to find a seat). The price is very fair, but the only bad point would be that the train was delayed 15 minutes. Besides that, the experience was very good.

My journey from Friedrichshafen to Stuttgart was uneventful. The Deutsche Bahn train was sparsely occupied and the service on board was good. The price of my ticket was also very fair. On the negative side, the cleanliness of the train was poor. The train was also a bit older, so the comfort on board was not the best. All in all, however, I would take a Deutsche Bahn train from Friedrichshafen to Stuttgart again at any time.
