There is a direct Eurostar train from Brussels to Calais, departing in the morning, taking approximately one hour. There are nine further Eurostar departures until the early evening, all of which involve a change at Lille Station. Earlier and later trains require further changes and take considerably longer. The same service operates seven days a week.

Taking the Train from Brussels
Bruxelles-Midi Station is just five minutes from the historic centre of the city by Metro or tram. Local buses, operated by De Lijn and TEC, also stop at the station. Noctis provide a frequent night bus service on Friday and Saturdays. There is a taxi rank outside the station entrance.
Getting into Calais by Train
Although Calais is mainly considered as a gateway between the UK and mainland Europe, it has plenty to offer visitors. Attractions to visit in Calais include the Town Hall, with its majestic ballroom and Rodin sculpture by the entrance. A climb to the top of the Light Tower is rewarded with magnificent views of the town and coast. There is also a very frequent and free minibus service, Balad'in, which runs through the centre of Calais.
