Hello everyone! This year in January I made a trip from Borken to Essen. The staff were very friendly and treated their customers very well. The train arrived in Essen on time. Furthermore, there was no need to change trains, which made the journey easier. However, the noise level on the train was not optimal. The price was also quite expensive in my opinion. The wifi connection on the train was also not efficient, as my mobile phone such could not connect to the wifi at all. Overall, a satisfactory journey.

Dear Sir or Madam, I took a train journey with DB from Borken to Essen. The staff were very kind and friendly. There was also no need to change trains. Hygiene was extremely well observed. Unfortunately, the wifi connection on the train was not very efficient. I could therefore neither connect my mobile phone nor my laptop to it. There was also a lot of noise and the train did not arrive on time. That was probably a big disadvantage!

You can't always rely on sockets and wifi, sometimes both are available, sometimes not. The food is good, if a little expensive. All the staff are mostly friendly and the toilets are mostly clean, but I don't like using them. I arrived on time.

Last year, I took a train trip with DB from Gelsenkirchen (Borken) to Essen in July. The price was really, really good. I actually only had to pay €3. The seats were very comfortable and well maintained. The service was very friendly and nice. They also had many reservation options available. The toilets were very clean, hygienic and cleaned. There was no need to change trains and the train arrived very punctually in Essen. The only problem was that the wifi was not good. My mobile phone could not connect to the wifi at all. However, I would still recommend the trip, it was great!

The train journey from Borken to Essen was so-so. One advantage are the seats in the trains. They are very comfortable and warm. The wifi is quite good. There were four bars on the wifi. The punctuality of the train was not so good. The train was 35 minutes late. What annoys me is that on the display boards at the beginning only 5 minutes. Then after 5 minutes the train still didn't arrive and on the display boards another 5 minutes. And after 5 minutes there was another 5 minutes. And so on. The food on the train was anything but delicious. The price-performance ratio is very high. I would not do it again. All in all, I'm afraid I only give it two stars.

I travelled from Borken to Essen about 3 weeks ago and I must say that the train surprised me positively, the hygiene in the toilet was very good. The staff were also very friendly. It was also good that there was a power socket and wifi. It was also very quiet, so I was able to do my work very well. I also liked the comfort on the train. The price was also reasonable. The journey was also quick.

IconQuiet atmosphere and low capacity utilisation
Disadvantages
IconSeats and toilets a little dirty
You could travel from Borken to Essen without changing trains. I thought it was very good, especially as the train was on time. Unfortunately, the seats on the train were a bit dirty. The corridors were acceptable, but the toilets didn't look so hygienic. However, there were enough power sockets and a stable internet connection. The service here had also been good, as there were many informative announcements and the ticket inspection was carried out quickly and smoothly. The train was also not full and therefore very quiet. There was also a snack vending machine on the train.

I recently travelled from Borken to Essen on the Deutsche Bahn. The price of the ticket was reasonable and fair. The train also arrived in Essen on time. There was also no need to change trains, which made the journey easier. Unfortunately, there was a lack of hygiene. The toilets were not well maintained, nor were the seats. The seats were also not comfortable. Unfortunately, the staff were also unfriendly. A fairly satisfactory journey on the whole.
