I travelled with the ICE 559 from Berlin to Frankfurt. The journey was in first class and I had reserved a seat. The first class service was very good, there were very few travellers on board. I travelled from Berlin to Frankfurt on the Deutsche Bahn ICE. I travelled first class, which was a major benefit on this trip. The train was quite busy, but I had my own area where I had space and could work in peace. The train arrived on time. The Deutsche Bahn staff were friendly. The train made a very well-kept impression on me. The journey dragged on a bit, but this may have been due to the time of day.

I was very satisfied with my train journey from Munich to Frankfurt. Due to the very fast train connection, we arrived very quickly at our destination and also reached it according to plan. The train was very clean and the train staff was absolutely and unreservedly friendly and always helpful. You were well informed about connecting trains during the train journey. The legroom and general space was absolutely adequate. I generally felt very comfortable on the train journey and have no criticisms to make.

Disadvantages

Wifi available but very slow. The power outlet was not working. The seats were ok but could have been a bit softer. As there is no service on this train, which I found a shame, rather not so good. Staff were always motivated though! Had given good information to the customer, but only in German. WC was partly defective, partly occupied for a long time. But the train was clean. It was on time! Price is perfect for the service!

The train departed Frankfurt Süd with a slight delay. It was an old IC train operated by Flixtrain. There was very little legroom in the seats. In addition, one could hardly get the plug into the socket. Several toilets were closed. The open ones got dirtier and dirtier as the journey went on. In addition, the train accumulated a lot of delay along the way. We reached Berlin over an hour later

My train journey on the ICE from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Frankfurt am Main Hauptbahnhof on 19 September 2023 in 1st class was simply excellent. The friendly service on the train was an added bonus. The staff were attentive and helpful. The cleanliness of the toilet on the train was remarkable and there were no unpleasant surprises. The lack of waiting times or delays contributed to the punctual arrival in Frankfurt and made the journey even more enjoyable.
