Regardless of whether you want to work during the train journey or ensure additional comfort by upgrading your ticket, the Frecciarossa Business Class is a great alternative for travellers. Every Frecciarossa train serves Business Class amenities in coaches 2 and 3 (on FR ETR500 in coaches 2, 3, and also 4). These amenities include more leg room, extra-wide ergonomic and reclinable leather seats, complimentary welcome drink, free Wi-Fi, and of course a power plug by each seat. Furthermore, high-standard seat services as well as larger luggage storage are available.
About Frecciarossa 1000 trains
The elegant, new Frecciarossa 1000 trains are the top of the line according to innovation and technology; they can reach a maximum speed of 400 km/h (248 mph) whilst the commercial maximum speed is 300 km/h (186 mph). Wide corridors, soundproof coaches, and comfortable seats with glass dividers for privacy are available in Business Class. All bathrooms are equipped with a changing table and there are storage spaces for your luggage across the train.

Trenitalia’s Frecciarossa Business Class option offers many advantages for travellers who want to add a special experience to their rail journeys.
When travelling in Business Class you will be greeted on board with a welcome drink service, including water and a variety of hot and cold beverages to choose from. You can also add a snack (sweet or savoury), with gluten-free options available as well. If you’re travelling with kids, there’s a special welcome treat for them, which includes coloured pencils and a sketch for drawing during the train ride.
Enjoy the peaceful Silence Area
If you prefer guaranteed peace and quiet during your train journeys to catch up on work or some reading, Frecciarossa Business offers a Silent Area option. The Silence Area (Area del Silenzio) can be found in coach 2, which is also ideal for sleeping. If you need to hold a meeting, the Frecciarossa trains offer a comfortable meeting area in coach 1. The meeting room is at the moment included in the Executive ticket, but access can be purchased when travelling Business Class for 30€ extra to ensure absolute peace and privacy while working. ETR 500 trains even offer a private-seat compartment, Salottino Business, that is ideal for travelling in complete peace.
