About
Air China is the flag carrier and one of the largest airlines of the People's Republic of China, headquartered in Beijing. Established in 1988, it was formed from a split of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and was given primary responsibility for intercontinental flights. Air China operates an extensive network of domestic and international flights to destinations across Asia, North America, Europe, South America, Africa, and Australia. The airline's fleet consists of various Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Air China is a member of the Star Alliance.
