OUIBUS tickets and prices look to cater to the need for affordable travel but also whilst offering quality service. While different class tickets are not available, single tickets and return tickets are offered, as well as group travel and tickets for children - children under the age of 2 years travel for half price. OUIBUS fares are guaranteed to remain unchanged as the bus fills up or as the departure date approaches, offering consistent deals and pricing for coach travel to some of Europe’s popular cities.
OUIBUS is a bus subsidiary of the French state railway, SNCF. The national authority for train travel within the country, SNCF is the state railway network and provider in France, and a leader in providing transport connections in Europe. In 2012, OUIBUS began running international coach services in Europe to link major cities.
The first hub was founded at Paris-Bercy, with more hubs and routes expanding the network in the following years. OUIBUS offers modern and popular options for bus travel, providing fast, efficient, economical and environmentally-conscious services.

There are racks above your seat or under your seat to store hand luggage. If you have larger items of luggage (make sure they are labelled), you can put these in the hold if the length, width and diameter does not exceed 200cm. The maximum weight you can bring is 20kg so make sure not to exceed this. Collapsable pushchairs can be placed in the hold free of charge. Suitcases, winter sports equipment, sufboards, and musical instruments all count as luggage.
Ouibus offers free WiFi to all its passengers. Register and connect to the network in just a few clicks. It is mostly reliable but streaming is not permitted due to fair data use policies. Check emails, reply to messages and read the news whilst travelling on the Ouibus to your destination.
Pets are not allowed onboard, unfortunately, unless they are guide dogs for the partially sighted or blind.
All luggage should be labelled with your name and address just in case. If you left anything on the bus, a Train Ticket Guide contact customer services with a clear description of the lost item (colour, dimensions, material, the journey date, where you think you lost it, and/or its contents.
Fold-up bicycles can be taken onboard trains as long as they are stored and fully folded away. Regular bicycles cannot be taken on the bus due to space issues. A bike would count as a piece of luggage - so keep that in mind.
If your bus journey is delayed, you may be due to some compensation. If the journey is cancelled and delayed more than 90 minutes for a journey which is 3 hours or more, then snacks and drinks or even 2 nights' hotel accomodation will be provided. If any journey is delayed more than 120 minutes, then 50% of the ticket price will be reimbursed.
Children aged 12-16 may travel solo if they have written confirmation authorising them to travel by their legal parent or guardian. The template is available upon request. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 or over.
Some tickets may allow you to apply for a refund, if the bus is heavily delayed and cancelled. For most tickets, apply for a refund online at Omio using our cancellations page. For your claim to be considered, be sure to apply for a refund within 28 days of the ticket's expiry date.
If you want to cancel your ticket, you can do so up to 30 minutes before your bus departs, via the app or on the website. Please note you will receive a OUIbus voucher, valid for up to 4 months after cancellation.
