Flights to The Hague from the United Kingdom depart from London City Airport and Heathrow Airport. Rotterdam The Hague Airport is 18 kilometres from The Hague city centre and 8 kilometres from Rotterdam, located off the A13 motorway. The major airlines operating from the airport include British Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Jetairfly. An OV-Chipkaart is needed to use public transport, and is available at the airport newsagents. The RandstadRail (metroline E) travels between the train stations in Rotterdam and The Hague, stopping at the airport in between. The Airport Shuttle (Busline 50) drops passengers off at the RandstadRail station, just a few minutes from the airport.
